Genatis expertise will transform the building to answer tomorrow’s climate challenges and adapt to its occupants’ comfort.

Our offer is composed of:

  • Project long support,
  • Optimization study of the building,
  • Work,
  • Performance guarantee on our solutions.

An audit is performed to identify the building’s needs and configuration/pathology. Thanks to specialized software, the engineering office will lead multiple simulations to build the most efficient solution. Then, we can install the solution and setup its automation to optimize its operation. Smart controls are also able to show data performance to follow up with expectations.

The engineering office will consider:

  • Configuration of the building,
  • Its equipment on the façade and roof,
  • Activity and needs of occupants,

Our technicians are trained to install all types of systems:

  • Shaft creation, skylight, and vault installation,
  • Structure reinforcement to support the devices (for adiabatic cooling systems),
  • Installation of diffusion network (for adiabatic cooling systems),
  • New openings on the façade.

We can guarantee the performance of our solution for energy management.

For natural lighting, we are committed to bring the required light autonomy in your building. The building’s manager will be able to follow up the performance via the installation of sensors which measure the natural light level in real time and is connected to the smart controls.

On the same concept, temperature sensors are installed to follow up the natural ventilation and adiabatic cooling systems solutions’ performances.

Beyond, we offer specific maintenance service to fully optimize the installation.

Three essential points

Support

We offer support all along your project, from defining the need to the maintenance service and offering the most efficient solution.

Savings and Ecological

Following the diagnosis, the offer will always be optimized to bring more comfort to the occupants and reduce the energy consumption/bill.

Challenges

The lack of natural light and openings to use naturally ventilate the building were the main problem of this building.

To optimize natural inputs and save energy, the goal is to be able to automate the solution.

Study

During phase 1, the study was highlighting the location of skylights and the according automation system required.

  • 46 fix skylights (2,5 x 2,5m), Polycarbonate 16 mm Opal, Light transmission = 42 %

  • 14 pneumatic upstands (2,2 x 2,2m), opening 300 mm, Alveolar polycarbonate 16 mm Opal, Light transmission = 52 %

Natural ventilation

The problem is twofold for this building: lack of natural light and openings allowing the evacuation of thermal loads by ventilation. The wish of the users is to be able to control the whole in order to optimize the energy savings and the natural contributions as much as possible.

Natural light

Arrangement of the skylights during the first phase with the appropriate control system.
