The Quadrilatère is the former tapestry national gallery located in Beauvais, near the Saint-Pierre cathedrale. The Quadrilatère’s structure has known several work projects since its inauguration in 1976

The roof was renovated in 2020, at the same time as the current skylights. The renovation was about the replacing of 23 Bluesteel Therm Pneu  100 X 100 cm skylights with opaque grey PCA Pearl Inside (integrating glass microbeads) infill and  20 mm thickness. Open/close pneumatic thermofuse gauged at 93° C. Insulated oblique upstand 25 mm thickness, height 350 mm, with co-laminated PVC sheet of metal. Inside coated with pure white RAL 9010 (1200 joules coated grid).

These new skylights are equipped with Pearl Inside opaque polycarbonate panels. With a good acoustic insulation, the opaque infill will require the use of artificial light to manage efficiently the exhibitions at the heart of this cultural center.
